Welcome to M6FGP / 2e0swi

Welcome to my Website, it has been designed using free CSS Templates and Macromedia Dreamweaver.

Well I completed the Amateur Radio Foundation Licence Course in 2011 and Sucessfully passed the assesment and gained the Callsign M6FGP, In 2017 I took the intermediate Licence and sucessfully passed gaining the callsign 2E0SWI, I intend progress onto the full licence, Many years ago i tried the City and Guilds Exam Class B Exam but missed it by 2 marks!, being a student at the time I was unable to afford to retake the exam, nearly 20years later I've finally got around to doing something about it.

When I'm on Here's what i Listen on.

You may find me on 70cm, 2m, 4m, 6m normally having a listen on all occasionally on 10m / 12M

I use a number of ex commercial (PMR) Radios.

70cm - Tait T2000 Series 2

2m - Tait T2000 Series 2

4m - Tait T2000 Series 2

6m - Alinco DR-M06

10 / 12m Ranger RCI2950-DX

I also have a TS120V and a TS130V for HF but due to limited antenna space it is rare that i use these.

I additonally like to listen to VHF marine and VHF Airband and have a selection of recievers for this, and some additional HF Recievers.
